While real estate agents generally focus on “location, location, location,” some believe “walkability,” or the ability of homeowners to access neighborhood attractions by foot, is also important. It is believed that walkability reduces crime while also boosting property values and maintaining them during a slump, though the last assumption may be more difficult to prove.
