Proper Paint disposal is something to keep in mind for Madtown residents. We just went through a move and in that process discovered some old paint cans we had in the basement. Time to dispose of the, should we throw them away or find some reuse for them?
Wait, what’s the proper way to throw them away?
Some internet research found this resource from Clean Sweep.
Clean Sweep has some great tips on re-use and how to maximize your use of paint, things like, only buy what you need to use. Perhaps easier said than done for a painting novice. However, they even provide a paint calculator resource to help with that.
The challenge now is that they are only open May – October.
Looks like we’ll be waiting for the drop off for a bit.
