Carbon Monoxide Detector Deadline Nears

A new regulation in Wisconsin requires apartment owners to install carbon monoxide alarms in places where fuel-burning appliances are used. Such appliances include hot water heaters, dryers, and furnaces. Statewide, fire departments will be talking with apartment owners and managers to educate them on where the detectors should be placed.
